Current beta manual

SjammieFilter

Dual-filter multi-FX for dirty movement, filter routing, drive and audio-reactive character. This manual follows the current 43-parameter Windows VST3 contract.

SjammieFilter plugin interface

First sound

Quick start

  1. Load SjammieFilter as an audio effect on a drum, vocal, synth, screech or FX layer.
  2. Start around 75% Mix so the dry signal remains available.
  3. Choose a mode and move Cutoff on Filter 1 or Filter 2.
  4. Try Serial, Parallel or Stereo Split routing.
  5. Add Dirt, Bite, Space, Pump or Vowel Sjamm in small steps.
  6. Lower Output before comparing louder processed settings.

Install

Close every DAW before replacing the plugin. Use the package instructions for the final release; typical VST3 locations are the user-local or global Common VST3 folder. Reopen the DAW and rescan.

HOST SYNC

The plugin reads DAW tempo when available and shows HOST SYNC. Without host tempo it uses a 150 BPM fallback. Test tempo changes before relying on synced movement.

Automation and state

Host-visible parameters are designed for automation and project recall. Save and reopen a test project after installing a new beta candidate.

Core controls

Input / OutputInput trim from -24 to +24 dB and output trim from -24 to +12 dB.
Mix / BypassDry-wet balance and host-visible bypass.
Auto GainGentle internal level helper; not a limiter or mastering loudness matcher.
RoutingSerial, Parallel or Stereo Split.
Filter 1 / Filter 2Lowpass, Highpass, Bandpass or Notch with 20 Hz to 20 kHz cutoff, resonance and per-filter drive.
OversamplingOff, 2x, 4x or 8x true anti-alias processing. Higher modes use more CPU; new instances default to 2x.

Character controls

Bitwig Studio 6.0.6Current load gate passes; deeper exact-candidate editor, automation, resize, save/reopen and render proof remains open.
Other hostsCurrent renamed build still needs focused FL Studio validation; Ableton Live, Studio One and Cubase are not yet claimed.

Troubleshooting

Start with the simple checks.

Rescan VST3, remove duplicate older builds, test a new empty project and retry with oversampling Off. Include product version, Windows version, DAW, sample rate, buffer size and reproduction steps in a future support report.
